Bishop Wayne Cream was born in Camden, New Jersey to the late George Edward Cream Sr. and Evelyn Grace Fisher Cream. Whereas, his early education was in the Camden City Public School System. Later, he attended the Jones International University located in Centennial, Colorado. He married Evangelist Lalita Denise Twyman Cream on September 24, 1977 and from that union they had one daughter Wayna Charee Cream. Bishop Cream then joined the United States Army on September 29, 1977.
Unequivocally, he had no earthly idea of the plan that God had for his life. However, in the course of his military service as a young soldier, he answered the call and accepted Jesus as Lord. In fact he “said Yes Lord” in September 1987 under the leadership of Bishop Juan Lawson at the Holy Light Church of God in Christ in El Paso, Texas.
Whereas, in November 1990, Bishop Cream accepted his “Clarion” call into the ministry and preached his initial message entitled (You Must Be Born Again) from the Gospel of Saint John Chapter 3. Significant to note, he was under the leadership of Elder Lorenzo Robinson at the Greater North Church of God and Christ (COGIC) in Garlstad, Germany.
Furthermore, while still serving in the United State Army, Bishop Cream continued his education. He attended both the Grand Canyon University and the Charles H. Mason Theological Seminary in Atlanta Georgia. In May 1997, Bishop Cream graduated the United State Army Sergeant Major Academy and was immediately promoted to Sergeant Major. At the same time, Bishop Cream continued his studies at the Chicago University in Chicago, Illinois. On June 30, 1999, Bishop Cream retired from the service with 22 years of faithful service. He served his country honorably and received numerous military awards and citations.
On June 2002, Bishop Cream began to start a work in Alexandria, Virginia where he founded and organized the Holy Mount Zion Temple of Deliverance Church of God and Christ.
In March 2006, Bishop Ted G. Thomas Sr., Prelate of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in Virginia appointed Bishop Cream as his Episcopal Adjutant.
On March 2007, Bishop Cream moved his church to Fredericksburg, Virginia and on May 24, 2007, Bishop Thomas dedicated Holy Mount Zion Temple of Deliverance into the Church of God and Christ Incorporated. Under Bishop Creams’ anointed leadership, Holy Mount Zion Temple of Deliverance continues to flourish and expand by building lives through ministries. Bishop Cream is a renowned gospel preacher, teacher, and lecturer who is known for boldly and uncompromisingly addressing issues that adversely affect today’s society.
In July 2014, the delegates of the General Council of Pastors and Elders elected Bishop Cream as Vice-Chairman of the Pastor’s and Elder’s Council.
In 2020, Bishop Cream formed a new fellowship of Churches called the Faith Based International Churches of Jesus Christ “Where Jesus is Lord” in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a result, this organizations name came to him during a vision while he was walking in the streets of Camden, New Jersey.
